MUSIC TEACHERS

  • Are you struggling to keep control in your K-3 music classroom?
  • Would you love to have something that works that you can use in the very next class?
  • Do you struggle to find lessons that work with K-3 students and keep them engaged?

I’m here to help! I was once in your shoes.
In fact, that’s how the whole Freddie The Frog thing came to exist!

I had two problems:
1) I needed classroom management strategies that worked.
“How do I keep students ages 4-8 engaged and my classroom in control?” Asking a 5-year-old to “sit still” just doesn’t work. (And, it’s not a good strategy!)

  • I tried sticker charts.
  • I tried reward jars.
  • I tried marks on the board. (You know–three strikes and you lose something, like recess time, etc.)

2) I needed to know what and how to teach young students in a way that the learning would “stick.”
(My older students didn’t retain anything about reading music! What had they learned each year? Why were my high school students clueless about rhythms and note names??)

There had to be a better way. So, I experimented and it worked!

  • I threw away the sticker charts. (YES!)
  • I trashed the reward jars. (YES! No more hunting for cheap “prizes.”)
  • I abandoned the “three strikes and you’re out” strategy.
I no longer needed them.

I had stumbled upon a strategy that solved both of my problems! My students ages 4 and up were excited, engaged, focused and loved coming to music. AND, there were learning and retaining what they learned!
Yes! I had hit the jackpot!

And, I LOVED teaching again! I knew what to do to inspire the youngest students and had a blast doing it! We were having fun together! I couldn’t wait to greet the next group of students and get started.

I had discovered the magic of storytelling, games and a puppet. Kids were learning through play (and didn’t even know it!).

Would you love to experience the same magic? I’d love to share.
In fact, that is exactly why Freddie The Frog exists. I wanted others to be able to have the same success I was having in my classroom. I wanted to make it easy for others to skip all my trials and classroom woes and skip to the good stuff–teaching kids with confidence and ease. And, now you can…

Using Freddie The Frog transformed my teaching and he can transform yours.

You will learn exactly how I use Freddie The Frog in my classroom to transform and inspire students of all ages, beginning at age 4, for a little of nothing.

I also know that music teachers do not have time to sit for hours watching videos and studying during the school year!
(You hardly have time to go to the bathroom!)

So, if you are trying to figure out what and how to teach to keep those wiggly bodies focused, this is a “crash course” that you can binge watch in a weekend or little by little while on the go. Either way, you can get started NOW and use with your kiddos immediately.

Just imagine having the kiddos in the palm of your hand and loving music–next week!
